As successful businessman and former Mayor of Herndon, Tom Rust has the background and experience to get things done for us. Though only serving as our Delegate for just a few short years, Tom is already recognized as one of the most effective legislators in the Virginia General Assembly, gaining high marks from the nonpartisan Virginia Foundation for Research and Economic Education (Virginia Free).
MeetTom Rust
In 2001, you sent me to Richmond to work with leaders in both parties to tackle the tough issues facing our area. Whether it is providing the funding necessary to improve transportation, investing in our children’s education, protecting our environment, or keeping our taxes low, I will continue, as I have in the past, to advocate for our needs, regardless of party politics. He is Chairman of the Higher Education Subcommittee.
